[BLOOD? YEAAAAH.]

First off, I'm pretty sure the first question that comes to mind when you hear the word 'vampire', is sparkles blood, am I right? Well, of course these guys drink blood, but, required by the enforcers/vampire cops (because they can totally get away with any human laws), all of them must drink bagged blood, unless you have a disease in which you can't, only then and in emergencies where there isn't any may you drink 'off the hoof'. A Rogue vampire, is a vampire that doesn't obey many of the rules, including that one, and constantly drinks off human-kind, even if there is bagged blood available. Axel however, is not a Rogue, but let's just say he hasn't put much effort into finding a blood bank around the Dressing Room. One of these vampires going without blood is basically like getting the flu, you have stomach aches, irritation, and if they go for to long, they could start loosing the reasonable side of their minds until they receive said nutrition. Another thing I should mention, is that getting bit from one of these guys doesn't always have to be painful. They can use one of their abilities to make their victim feel pleasure, pain, or even a complete numbing feeling. Interesting, huh?

[ABILITIES? YEAAAAH.]

Why don't we go to their special abilities now. As I stated above, they are able to completely take over your mind, wiping your memories (really they 'veil' the memories, and have to leave so those memories can't surface back by just seeing them or saying something. The process of your memories returning is painful enough to make someone faint), reading your thoughts, controlling you, ect. Usually, skilled older vampires are experts at this stuff, and can easily take over younger vampires' minds. Often, it takes years of practice to learn these abilities, but eventually every vampire is able to do this. Super strength, senses, night vision and agility are also some of the good points of being this type of vampire. Fangs are also an important thing this paragraph, for, their fangs aren't always visible. They posses the ability to pop their fangs out and pull them back in when needed, so you won't always be able to tell who's a vampire and who isn't.

[GOOD LOOKING AND HEALTHY? YEAAAAH.]

Extending that a bit into the appearance portion, these guys are notorious for being stunningly good looking. The little bugs (nanos) inside their body keep them in peak condition, their skin the perfect shade for them, their weight the correct one for them, and they aren't able to get sick, normal human infection wise. Going back to the super night vision, all of these guys have either silver or gold specks in their eyes along with a normal color, the specs are what help them reflect and see light in pitch black. Axel, being from the silvery-eyed Argeneau family, has silver specs in his green eyes. By using blood (hence having to drink it), the nanos repair the body, meaning a paper cut pretty much doesn't happen to these guys and so on, but the more damage, the more blood these nanos need. Birthmarks are usually a no, but the mun bended the rules and let Axel and Lea have the marks under their eyes, because she couldn't really find any plot holes other than that. Let's not forget that if anything is cut off (besides the head), it is said to grow back or able to reattach in some way.

Eye chart:
Light colors (ie: Blue, Green) = Silver-y bits.
Dark colors (ie: Brown, Black)

[POSSIBLY A MERMAID? YEAAAAH.]

Sense we are on the subject of the nanos (I.. again apologize for now it being really complicated.), how about we go on to their history? If the mun can still remember correctly, Axel is from the generation that is decedents of the original vampires who were simple experiments with genetically making the human-kind vampire, an experiment that took place in Atlantis. They blended nano technology with the body, and created the first batch of immortals who were a bust and never developed correctly like the second batch, which is where Axel's old relatives are from and such. Originally, they did not have fangs, but after the fall of Atlantis, the few who survived had to find a new way to get blood instead of through IVs, in which the nanos let them develop fangs, indicating that the nanos can adapt to the world around them.

[VAMPIRE COPS? YEAAAAH.]

Going over to the law enforcement section now, the law enforcers of these immortals are called the Council. In this group, they enforce these few laws:
1. You may have only one child every 100 years to keep the population down (Axel has no kids).
2. You may only turn one human in your life time (Please see the Lea entry!),
3. You must drink bagged blood unless of the circumstances stated above.
4. You must not reveal anything to the public openly about vampires.

These laws keep the order of the vampire population. The reason for number one, is to keep the population down, can't exactly out match the food, can you? Two and Three simply follow One, and Four is to keep from having another Bram Stoker incident, now do we?

[ETERNAL LOVE? YEAAAAH.]

Now unto a special part of this, that is rather unusual in most visions of a vampire. Each vampire is said to have a life-mate, a mate specially for them to spend eternity with (they are suppose to live forever, unless killed). The nanos recognize these people as the person basically made for them. Vampires cannot read, and have pretty much undeniable love at first sight feelings for this person. Those that are not paired with a Life Mate tend to be arrogant, mean, cold and sometimes self destructible. They are even worse if they have been paired with a non life mate. [livejournal.com profile] bittenkey is Axel's life mate. If your life mate happens to die, you might be lucky enough to get another one pretty much a thousand years later. It is said to be a rarity. Life mates are perfect in every way for each other, right down to simple things like similar taste in decor, books, hobbies, ect. Often, immortals are said to tire of things such as food, sex.. life. The signs of a life mate are getting all of these interests back quick, kind of like whiplash, and the stated above: LOL NO READING KTHX.

[DEATH? NOOO.]

Some miscellaneous facts about these guys are that there are only three (yes, only three) ways to kill this type of vampire. They are: to burn them in a hot enough area that completely chars the bones (though they can survive dying burns for mortals, but the nanos make them quite flammable), to decapitate them (they can grow everything back but their heads) and to stab a big enough object into their hearts (not like an arrow, but like idk a PLANK or something), something too big for the nanos to push out. They are some what allergic to the sun however, though it is not enough to burn them. They can go out in the sun, but they would need more blood to supply the nanos, which are constantly working on their bodies.

the Mun believes she has pretty much covered everything. If you have any questions, feel free comment below.
